With nearly two decades of design experience to her credit, Kate has acquired a uniquely diverse background in design and construction.

Her experience includes the following project types: 
hospitality
performing arts
academic facilities
libraries
corporate
residential
historic
religious buildings

She credits her success to this diverse design experience which enables her to provide her clients with spaces that uniquely fit their needs and surpass their expectations. Kate oversees all aspects of design with every client.

Prior to moving to Utah where she currently resides, Kate worked for more than ten years in Los Angeles, CA for a nationally recognized and highly awarded architectural design firm on projects both in the US and overseas. After moving to Utah, Kate was named an Associate and worked for two years with the largest architecture and design firm in the Intermountain West. In 2008 Kate joined the development team of DDRM as Design Director. Kate Norris Design took shape following the completion of the St. Regis Deer Valley project where Kate continues to serve as in-house designer.  Kate recently completed the design of her 15th St. Regis private residence.

Kate graduated from FIDM in Los Angeles with a degree in Interior Design and later returned to teach there. Kate is an NCIDQ Certified Designer.
